Deepak is the Founder Director of Boddhi Tree Foundation and leads its operations, including technical development, corporate affairs and finance.
A mechanical engineer with more than 45 years of professional experience, he spent over 15 years with companies including Escorts, Hero Honda Motors and SRF Nippondenso. His work has covered process improvement, cost reduction, quality management systems, prototype development, product commercialisation, mass production, training, low-cost automation, marketing and project evaluation.
In the development sector he has worked with UNDP, APCTT and IFC. He is a certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and helped introduce quality management systems in rural development programmes, including poultry enterprises run by rural women's groups supported by PRADAN.
