Deepak is the Founder Director of Boddhi Tree Foundation and heads the operations including Technical Development, Corporate Affairs and Finance. He is a Mechanical Engineer having more than 45 years of experience in Corporate and Development Sectors. Deepak has served industries including Escorts, Hero Honda Motors and SRF Nippondenso for more than 15 years.
He is an expert in Process Improvements, Cost Reduction and Quality Management Systems. His experience includes Prototype Development, Product Commercialisation, Mass Production, Trainings, Low Cost Automation, Marketing and Project Evaluation. With his multi skills in Corporate Sector as well as NGO Sector, he has successfully infused professionalism into the NGO sector.
He pioneered the application of Quality Management Systems in rural development interventions. He designed and implemented user friendly Management System in the poultry sector run by rural women groups and promoted by PRADAN. In social sector, he has worked in lnternational NGOs and bilateral / multilateral agencies such as UNDP, APCTT (Asia and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology) and IFC (International Finance Corporation). He is also Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
